Description
The Whitsunday Islands are the perfect place to enjoy the true paradise that the region has to offer. With 74 tropical islands, nestled in-between the Great Barrier Reef and Airlie Beach, the area has some spectacular scenery to explore with Camira cruises.
Departing from Airlie Beach, and passing Daydream, Hamilton and Hook islands en route you will head to Whitsunday Island. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to stop for a snorkel at a secret spot.
Once you have reached the east coast of the island, Camira will moor at the north end of the world famous Whitehaven Beach. This idyllic location is a 7km stretching of incredible white sand that is regularly voted Australia’s best beach.
On a guided hike to Hill Inlet lookout, follow a path walked by the Whitsundays’ traditional owners, the Ngaro people. Back on the beach, swim and stroll along the shore before a gourmet lunch pack onboard and your journey home.
